Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a bit better than the Google Pixel 4a, getting an 88.3 score against 82.9. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 11 OS. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 construction is extremely thicker and much heavier than Google Pixel 4a.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a little sharper screen than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a just a bit worse display density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bigger display. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has as much memory to store more apps and games as Google Pixel 4a, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a much better battery duration than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 43 percent more battery capacity.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 shoots way better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels, a way larger sensor providing a way higher image quality and better 60 fps video frame rate.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 4a, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
