Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a has a global score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's general score of 81.1. These phones include Android operating system, but the Google Pixel 4a has the newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10. Google Pixel 4a's construction is noticeably lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel 4a. Both have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. The Google Pixel 4a counts with a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a greater camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a lot higher 64 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a better memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a much better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 60 percent more battery size.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it costs more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
