Comparison review
Google Pixel 5 is better than Huawei Mate 20, having a general score of 89 against 79.5. Google Pixel 5's body is newer, lighter and a little thinner than the Huawei Mate 20. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2244px resolution and a little bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a quite larger display.
Google Pixel 5 and Huawei Mate 20 have similar memory for applications and games, both have the same 128 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 20 and Google Pixel 5 count with quite similar processing units, and although the Huawei Mate 20 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Google Pixel 5 has just a bit better battery duration than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4080mAh battery capacity. Google Pixel 5 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photos, higher video frame rates and a camera with a better 12.2 megapixels resolution.
Google Pixel 5 costs a bit more than Huawei Mate 20, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
