Huawei Mate 40 Pro is just a bit better than Google Pixel 5, having a 90.9 score against 89. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a somewhat thicker and extremely heavier phone than the Google Pixel 5. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel 5, because it has a better 1334 x 2772 pixels resolution, a just a bit higher pixel density and a bit larger display.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a very superior storage for apps and games than Google Pixel 5, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 5. Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a way better camera than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a camera with way more mega-pixels and a much bigger camera sensor which provides a way higher photo and video quality.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little longer battery performance than Google Pixel 5, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
