The Google Pixel 5 has a global score of 89, which is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro's 81.4 overall score. The Google Pixel 5 body has the same thickness than the Huawei P20 Pro, but it's somewhat lighter. Google Pixel 5 features a little better performance than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Google Pixel 5 has a little bit better looking display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Huawei P20 Pro features a better camera than Google Pixel 5, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor and a way better 40 MP resolution back-facing camera.
The Huawei P20 Pro's memory for apps and games is just as good as Google Pixel 5's one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity. Google Pixel 5 counts with a bit better battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity.
Google Pixel 5 is way more expensive than the Huawei P20 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
