Google Pixel 5 is a little bit better than the Huawei P30, getting a general score of 89 against 81.7. Google Pixel 5's construction is newer and just a bit lighter than the Huawei P30's, but it's also a bit thicker. Huawei P30 counts with a display that's very similar to the Google Pixel 5 one, because although the Huawei P30 has a little less pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite larger display.
Huawei P30 and Google Pixel 5 feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Huawei P30 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Huawei P30's storage capacity for applications and games is just as good as Google Pixel 5's one, both of them have equal internal storage.
The Google Pixel 5 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P30, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity instead of 3650mAh. The Huawei P30 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a smaller aperture and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P30 also counts with a lot more MP camera and a lot larger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
The Google Pixel 5 costs a little more than the Huawei P30, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
