Comparison review
The Google Pixel 5 has an overall score of 89, which is better than the Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 global score. The Google Pixel 5 is a just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter device than Huawei P40 Lite, although both were released with only 8 months difference. The Google Pixel 5 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bit better number of pixels in each inch in the screen. Huawei P40 Lite's memory capacity for apps and games is very similar to Google Pixel 5's one, both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P40 Lite features a bit superior battery performance than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 4200mAh battery size. Huawei P40 Lite features a little bit better camera than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and/or video in low light environments and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a lot higher resolution back camera and a much bigger sensor.
Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40 Lite. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Huawei P40 Lite, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
