Comparison review
Google Pixel 5 has an overall score of 89, which is slightly better than the LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 overall score. Google Pixel 5's design is newer, a little thinner and a little lighter than the LG G8 ThinQ. The LG G8 ThinQ has a much better display than Google Pixel 5, because it has a greater display density, a little bit larger display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px.
The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit better performance than Google Pixel 5, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Google Pixel 5 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor and a higher resolution camera.
Google Pixel 5 features greater battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4080mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G8 ThinQ, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
