The Google Pixel 5 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, having a general score of 89 against 85.3. Google Pixel 5's design is noticeably lighter than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but it is incredibly thicker and was released only 11 months before. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit more vivid display than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a bit lower screen density, it also counts with a really larger screen and a way higher 1892 x 2688 resolution.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a little better performance than Google Pixel 5. They have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Google Pixel 5 and the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 both count with really similar storage to store more apps and games, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 9 percent bigger battery capacity.
Google Pixel 5 costs a bit more money than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
