The Google Pixel 5 is a little bit better than the Galaxy A50, getting a score of 89 against 83.8. The Google Pixel 5 body is newer and just a bit lighter, but also just a little bit thicker than the Galaxy A50. The Google Pixel 5 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340px resolution, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.

Galaxy A50 features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Google Pixel 5 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Google Pixel 5 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy A50, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity. The Google Pixel 5 takes clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a back camera with a way worse 12.2 mega pixels resolution, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A50. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Pixel 5, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A50, giving up a couple features and specifications.
