Comparison review
The Google Pixel 5 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S8, getting an 89 score against 81.7. Google Pixel 5 is a a little lighter cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S8, but both have the same thickness. The Google Pixel 5 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a bit sharper display than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a better pixel density. The Galaxy S8 features a bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
Google Pixel 5 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same video definition, the same sensor size and a same size aperture, the Google Pixel 5 also has higher video frame rates and a camera with more mega-pixels. Google Pixel 5 features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S8. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy S8, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
