The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 5's general score of 89. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Google Pixel 5 were released with only 1 months difference, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's construction is thinner but also heavier. Google Pixel 5 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a lot worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 takes a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution, a back-facing camera with a worse resolution and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, it also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor capturing lot better quality photos and videos.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 5, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better battery life than Google Pixel 5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4080mAh.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 5, resigning some features and specs.
