Google Pixel 5 has a score of 89, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 general score. Google Pixel 5 is a much lighter and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though both were only released with a few months difference. Google Pixel 5 counts with a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a bit better pixel number in each screen inch.
The Google Pixel 5 has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much better camera than Google Pixel 5, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much more mega pixels camera and a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel 5, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, letting go a couple specs and features.
