Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 has a general score of 77.4, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 6a's 76.4 general score. Although Huawei Mate 8 is older and just a little bit heavier than the Google Pixel 6a, it's design is still somewhat thinner. The Huawei Mate 8 features a little sharper display than Google Pixel 6a, although it has a quite smaller display, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a just a bit worse pixels density.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a much better performing processor than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more processing cores. Huawei Mate 8 features a superior storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 6a, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Google Pixel 6a has a bit superior battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 10 percent more battery size. Google Pixel 6a has a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a lot less MP resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and video.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 6a. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Google Pixel 6a, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
