Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 6a's 76.4 general score. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro body is a bit lighter and thinner than Google Pixel 6a, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both phones we are comparing here have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Google Pixel 6a has Android 12, so it gives a couple nice extra features.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much better processing power than Google Pixel 6a, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a larger number of cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a brighter display than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher screen pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has as much storage capacity for apps and games as the Google Pixel 6a one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. Google Pixel 6a features just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 10% greater battery size. Google Pixel 6a counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video definition, the Google Pixel 6a also has better 60 frames per second video frame rates, a camera in the back with a better resolution and a lot bigger aperture.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 6a. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 6a, letting go some specs and features.
