Huawei Mate X is much better than the Google Pixel 6a, having an 89.4 score against 76.4. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Google Pixel 6a has Android 12, so it offers a couple additional features and performance enhancements. The Huawei Mate X is a notably older, somewhat thicker and extremely heavier cellphone than the Google Pixel 6a.
The Huawei Mate X has a little bit better looking display than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a way better 2200 x 2480 pixels resolution and a really larger display. Huawei Mate X counts with a way better performance than Google Pixel 6a, because it has more processing cores and 2 GB more RAM.
Google Pixel 6a captures a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a back-facing camera with a much lower 12.2 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures. The Huawei Mate X counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 6a, because it has more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery duration in Google Pixel 6a, although the Huawei Mate X also has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4410mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 6a. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 6a, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
