Google Pixel 8 Pro has a general score of 80.1, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024)'s 78.9 general score. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Google Pixel 8 Pro has the older 13 version while Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) has Android 14.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), and although they both have a same size screen, the Google Pixel 8 Pro also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a greater pixels density. Google Pixel 8 Pro and Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) count with incredibly similar storage capacity for apps and games, they have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage.

The Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024)'s CPU is very similar to the processor in Google Pixel 8 Pro, and although the Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) has more MHz cores, they both have a 12 GB RAM memory. Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) has a way better camera than Google Pixel 8 Pro, although it has a back facing camera with a much worse resolution.
