The Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 8's overall score of 72.5. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Alpha has newer 4.4.4 version and Google Pixel 8 has Android 13 version, so it provides some nice extra features and performance improvements.
Galaxy Alpha has a much better performing processing unit than Google Pixel 8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU and a higher number of faster cores. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a more vivid display than Google Pixel 8, although it has a lot worse screen density, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a much smaller screen.
