Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (Rumored) has Android 14, so it provides the user lots of additional features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a way better looking screen than Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (Rumored), because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a much higher display pixels density. Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (Rumored) counts with a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Galaxy Note8 features a much more powerful processor than Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (Rumored), although it has 10 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (Rumored) features a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same video definition, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (Rumored) also has higher video frame rate and a way better 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (Rumored) counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
