The Google Pixel has a global score of 80.2, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 global score. Although the Google Pixel and Huawei Mate 9 Pro were only released with a few months difference, the Google Pixel design is somewhat lighter but thicker. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little more vivid display than Google Pixel, because it has a little bit more pixels per inch of display, a little bit larger screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel, because it has a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Google Pixel has a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Google Pixel also has a back facing camera with a higher 12.3 mega-pixels resolution, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and video and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
The Google Pixel and the Huawei Mate 9 Pro have similar storage for apps and games, both of them have equal internal storage. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much longer battery performance than Google Pixel, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2770mAh.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Google Pixel is also a bargain compared to the other devices, which makes it a no doubt choice.
