The Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Google Pixel, getting a score of 83 against 80.2. The Galaxy Note8 is a notably heavier phone than the Google Pixel, but both of them have the same thickness. Galaxy Note8 features just a little better processing power than Google Pixel, because it has a greater number of cores and 2 GB more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel, because it has a little more pixels per inch in the display, a bigger screen and a much better 1440 x 2960 resolution. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly bigger storage for apps and games than Google Pixel, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with longer battery life than Google Pixel, because it has a 3300mAh battery size. The Galaxy Note8 features a camera that is very similar to Google Pixel's camera, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a tinier camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and images, a lower 12 MP resolution camera in the back and a worse video definition, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel, letting go a couple features and specs.
