Comparison review

The Google Pixel has a general score of 80.2, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 global score. Although Google Pixel is just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it's just a bit lighter and also notably newer. Galaxy S5 Plus has a brighter screen than Google Pixel, because although it has a little bit lower display density, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a bit larger screen.

The Google Pixel has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy S5 Plus has just a little better performance than Google Pixel, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an extra graphics processor.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's camera is very similar to the Google Pixel one, because although the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photos and video and a smaller sensor capturing worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, it also counts with a much better 16 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

The Galaxy S5 Plus features a little longer battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity against 2770mAh.

Although Google Pixel is a better device, it costs more than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a couple features and specs.
