Google Pixel has a global score of 80.2, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 overall score. The Google Pixel is a somewhat thinner and much lighter cellphone than the Galaxy S7 Active, although both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. The Galaxy S7 Active's CPU is very similar to the Google Pixel one, both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a much better looking display than Google Pixel, because it has a quite larger display, a better pixel amount in each inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Google Pixel takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Google Pixel also counts with a better 12.3 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Google Pixel counts with a quite bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a way better battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2770mAh.
Google Pixel costs more money than the Galaxy S7 Active, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
