Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Google Pixel, with an 82.2 score against 80.2. Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is newer, but heavier and a lot thicker than the Google Pixel. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better processing power than Google Pixel, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much sharper display than Google Pixel, because it has a bigger display, a lot better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot greater screen density. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better camera than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a 0.43 inches sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger aperture for better low light captures and video and a back camera with lot more megapixels.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features superior battery life than Google Pixel, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel, letting go a couple features and specifications.
