Comparison review
The Google Pixel is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a score of 80.2 against 77.5. Even though the Google Pixel and the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 were released with only 7 months difference, the Google Pixel construction is way lighter but also thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The Google Pixel features a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Google Pixel also counts with more pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a larger number of cores. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a superior battery life than Google Pixel, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 2770mAh. Google Pixel captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Google Pixel also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations, a way larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a camera with more MP.
Google Pixel is a little more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
