Galaxy A9 (2018) has a score of 85.2, which is much better than the Honor 20 Pro's 73.2 global score. The Galaxy A9 (2018) design is a little bit heavier but a bit thinner than Honor 20 Pro, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. Honor 20 Pro has a bit better screen than Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have a same size screen, the Honor 20 Pro also has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px.

The Honor 20 Pro has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Honor 20 Pro also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and videos, a lot more megapixels back camera and a much bigger back camera sensor taking way better quality photographs.
Honor 20 Pro features a little better battery performance than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 5% larger battery capacity.
