The Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is better than the Honor 20 Pro's 73.2 overall score. Galaxy Note8's construction is older, just a little thicker and a little heavier than the Honor 20 Pro. The Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better display than Honor 20 Pro, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a better screen pixels density.
Honor 20 Pro features a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. Honor 20 Pro counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Honor 20 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
Honor 20 Pro features superior battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. The Honor 20 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Honor 20 Pro also has a bigger camera aperture for better photos in poorly lited situations, a way bigger sensor taking much better quality photos and videos and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
