The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is much better than Honor 20 Pro's general score of 73.2. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, the Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, much thicker and heavier phone than Honor 20 Pro. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better looking display than Honor 20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot better screen pixel density.
Honor 20 Pro counts with a better storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better hardware performance than Honor 20 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Honor 20 Pro captures better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Honor 20 Pro also has a much larger camera aperture, a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
Honor 20 Pro has a bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
