Xiaomi Mi 9 has a global score of 83.2, which is much better than the Honor 20 Pro's global score of 73.2. Xiaomi Mi 9 is a just a little thinner and a little bit lighter cellphone than the Honor 20 Pro, although they were released with only 3 months difference. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit sharper screen than Honor 20 Pro, because although it has a little bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a little larger display.
Honor 20 Pro features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a bit better processing power than Honor 20 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Honor 20 Pro counts with better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh. Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Honor 20 Pro, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
