Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has an overall score of 78.7, which is slightly better than Honor 50 Pro's 77 overall score. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version and Honor 50 Pro has Android 11, giving some additional features and a performance increase. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an incredibly older cellphone than the Honor 50 Pro, but Huawei managed to make it just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway.
The Honor 50 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Honor 50 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a bit better pixels density.
The Honor 50 Pro features a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has more internal memory capacity. Honor 50 Pro features a way better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Honor 50 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture and a lot better resolution back facing camera.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a battery performance that's very similar to Honor 50 Pro's battery lifetime.
