The Huawei Mate Xs is better than the Honor 50 Pro, with a general score of 91.6 against 77. Despite being the best device in this review, the Huawei Mate Xs is an older, incredibly thicker and much heavier device than the Honor 50 Pro. The Huawei Mate Xs features a little faster processing unit than Honor 50 Pro. Both have a 8 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
The Honor 50 Pro and the Huawei Mate Xs feature very similar screens, because although the Huawei Mate Xs has a bit worse quantity of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a larger display and a higher 2200 x 2480 resolution. Honor 50 Pro shoots better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate Xs, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Honor 50 Pro also counts with a camera with a way higher resolution.
The Huawei Mate Xs has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Honor 50 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate Xs has just a bit longer battery duration than Honor 50 Pro, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
