Comparison review

The LG G8 ThinQ is just a bit better than the Honor 50 Pro, getting an 84.3 score against 77. LG G8 ThinQ is a much older and just a little thicker cellphone than Honor 50 Pro, but LG made it lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Honor 50 Pro has Android 11 version, offering some additional features.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little better performance than Honor 50 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The LG G8 ThinQ has a much better display than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a little bit higher 1440 x 3120 resolution.

The LG G8 ThinQ features much more storage to store more games and applications than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Honor 50 Pro features a little longer battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.

The Honor 50 Pro captures much better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rate and a lot smaller aperture which is worse for taking pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Honor 50 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
