Galaxy A42 is much better than the Honor 50 Pro, getting an 87 score against 77. These devices include the same Android 11 OS (Operating System). Even though the Galaxy A42 is better than the Honor 50 Pro, it must be noted that it is also a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. The Honor 50 Pro has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Honor 50 Pro also has more RAM.
Honor 50 Pro has a sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a lot better resolution of 1236 x 2676 pixels, a much better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a quite bigger screen. The Galaxy A42 counts with a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy A42 features better battery performance than Honor 50 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
