Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is slightly better than the Honor 50 Pro, getting a general score of 79.2 against 77. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is an a lot older and a little bit thicker cellphone than Honor 50 Pro, but Samsung was able to build it a little lighter anyway. Honor 50 Pro and Galaxy A8 (2018) count with extremely similar screens, because although the Galaxy A8 (2018) has a bit worse 1080 x 2220 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixels amount per display inch.
The Honor 50 Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Honor 50 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Honor 50 Pro features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Honor 50 Pro counts with improved battery life than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. The Honor 50 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with way more megapixels.
