The Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is a bit better than the Honor 50 Pro's overall score of 77. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Honor 50 Pro has Android 11 version, so it gives lots of additional features and performance optimizations. Although the Galaxy Note8 is better than Honor 50 Pro, we must note that it is also much older, just a bit heavier and just a little thicker.

Honor 50 Pro features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Honor 50 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a quite better pixels density.

Honor 50 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting photographs or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Honor 50 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher 108 megapixels resolution.

Honor 50 Pro counts with a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Honor 50 Pro features superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
