Comparison review
Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than the Honor 50 Pro's score of 77. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 has newer 4.4.2 version while Honor 50 Pro has Android 11, so it gives you a couple additional features and a performance increase. Galaxy S5 is a notably older and a bit thicker cellphone than Honor 50 Pro, but Samsung could make it extremely lighter anyway.
The Galaxy S5 has a sharper screen than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen. The Honor 50 Pro has a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy S5 and Honor 50 Pro have extremely similar processors, because although the Galaxy S5 has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Honor 50 Pro has a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Honor 50 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Honor 50 Pro also has a bigger aperture for better photos and video in low-light situations and a much more mega-pixels back camera.
