The Galaxy Alpha is a little bit better than Honor 50 SE, getting a overall score of 76.3 against 73.7. The Galaxy Alpha construction is extremely lighter and thinner than the Honor 50 SE. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Alpha has a newer 4.4.4 version while Honor 50 SE has Android 11 version, so it offers some extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a little bit better looking screen than Honor 50 SE, although it has a way smaller screen, a bit worse display density and a much lower 1280 x 720 resolution. Honor 50 SE features much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal memory.

Honor 50 SE has a bit superior processor than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (but slower) and 6 GB more RAM memory. The Honor 50 SE has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 1860mAh.

The Honor 50 SE takes a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Honor 50 SE also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and video in low-light situations and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
