Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy J8 is just a bit better than Honor 50 SE, getting a 76.7 score against 73.7. Samsung Galaxy J8 is an extremely older and a bit thicker cellphone than Honor 50 SE, but Samsung was able to build it a little bit lighter anyway. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy J8 has older 10 version while Honor 50 SE has Android 11 version.

The Honor 50 SE features just a little better performance than Galaxy J8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Honor 50 SE also has a greater amount of RAM. Honor 50 SE has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a lot higher 1080 x 2388 resolution, a greater pixels density and a bit larger display.

Honor 50 SE features a lot better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Samsung Galaxy J8 features a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Honor 50 SE, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Honor 50 SE features a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
