Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the Honor 50 SE, getting a global score of 79.8 against 73.7. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while Honor 50 SE has Android 11. The Xperia Z5 Premium construction has the same thickness than Honor 50 SE, but it's a little lighter.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better screen than Honor 50 SE, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a lot better screen density. The Honor 50 SE features a little better processing power than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Honor 50 SE also counts with more RAM memory.
The Honor 50 SE features a better storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Honor 50 SE has a much better camera than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light captures, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Honor 50 SE also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
