Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max is just a bit better than the Honor 50 SE, with a global score of 77.5 against 73.7. Xiaomi Mi Max is an extremely older and a little bit heavier cellphone than Honor 50 SE, but Xiaomi managed to build it just a little bit thinner anyway. Honor 50 SE counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Honor 50 SE also has a larger amount of RAM.
Honor 50 SE has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2388 resolution, a little bigger display and a bit higher pixel amount per inch of screen. The Honor 50 SE captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Honor 50 SE also has a back-facing camera with way more MP and a larger diafragm aperture.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Honor 50 SE, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max features greater battery lifetime than Honor 50 SE, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
