The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is slightly better than the Honor 50 SE, getting a score of 75.8 against 73.7. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Honor 50 SE has Android 11 version, giving you some extra features. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's construction is a little lighter than the Honor 50 SE, although it is a little bit thicker and was released many years before.
The Honor 50 SE counts with a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Honor 50 SE also has 2 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a display that is very similar to Honor 50 SE's screen, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better display pixel density.
The Honor 50 SE features a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a way higher 108 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a much better video quality and a larger diafragm aperture. The Honor 50 SE counts with a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage.
