Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is a little bit better than Honor 50, with a general score of 77.7 against 74.5. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but HTC One M9 has an older 5.0 version while Honor 50 has Android 11. HTC One M9's design is somewhat lighter than Honor 50, but it's noticeably thicker and was released many years before.
The HTC One M9 counts with a better looking display than Honor 50, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. Honor 50 counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
HTC One M9 features just a bit better performance than Honor 50, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics co-processor. The Honor 50 features a way better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 51 percent larger battery capacity.
Honor 50 shoots much better videos and photos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Honor 50 also has a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in low light situations and a lot higher 108 MP resolution back camera.
