Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a global score of 76.5, which is just a bit better than the Honor 50's 74.5 overall score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Honor 50 has Android 11 version, offering lots of additional features and performance enhancements. Even being the best device we are comparing here, Huawei P20 Lite (2019)'s design is older, a little heavier and a little thicker than Honor 50.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) and Honor 50 have really similar displays, because although the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2310px and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixel density. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Honor 50, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 256 GB.
Honor 50 has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 50 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Honor 50 shoots greater videos and photos than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video definition and a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Honor 50 features a bit better battery life than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
