Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro has a score of 81.4, which is a little bit better than Honor 50's 74.5 general score. Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better cellphone than the Honor 50, we must note that it is also notably older, just a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Huawei P20 Pro has the previous 10 version while Honor 50 has Android 11.
Honor 50 features a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 50 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P20 Pro has a bit more vivid display than Honor 50, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2240, it also counts with a quite better display pixel density.
Honor 50 and Huawei P20 Pro both have incredibly similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, they have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. Honor 50 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Honor 50 also counts with a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
The Honor 50 has a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
