Comparison review

LG G8 ThinQ is much better than the Honor 50, getting a general score of 84.3 against 74.5. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but LG G8 ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version while Honor 50 has Android 11, counting with some extra features and improved performance. The LG G8 ThinQ is an a lot older and just a bit thicker phone than the Honor 50, but LG was able to build it just a little lighter anyway.

LG G8 ThinQ features a better screen than Honor 50, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ features a little better hardware performance than Honor 50, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

LG G8 ThinQ has much more storage capacity for applications and games than Honor 50, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Honor 50 features improved battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.

The Honor 50 captures much clearer pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light images and video and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Honor 50 also counts with a lot more MP camera.
