LG G8X ThinQ is better than the Honor 50, with an 82.7 score against 74.5. Although it's the best in this comparison, it must be noted that it's also older, just a little heavier and a little bit thicker. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but LG G8X ThinQ has older 10 version while Honor 50 has Android 11.
LG G8X ThinQ has a bit better CPU than Honor 50, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit sharper screen than Honor 50, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with a just a little greater display pixels density.
The Honor 50 captures much better photos and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Honor 50 also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera.
LG G8X ThinQ has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Honor 50, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Honor 50 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
