Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has a score of 82.6, which is much better than Honor 50's 74.5 general score. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison review, Motorola Moto G 5G Plus is an older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than Honor 50. The Honor 50 features a bit superior CPU than Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 50 also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Moto G 5G Plus counts with just a bit better screen than Honor 50, because it has a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520, a little bit larger display and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Moto G 5G Plus counts with a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Honor 50, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
Honor 50 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Honor 50 also counts with a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with improved battery life than Honor 50, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
