The Moto G9 Plus is just a bit better than Honor 50, having a global score of 80.5 against 74.5. Even being the best in this review, we must highlight that it is also older, heavier and thicker. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS, but Moto G9 Plus has an older 10 version while Honor 50 has Android 11 version.
Moto G9 Plus counts with a display that is just as good as the Honor 50 one, because although the Moto G9 Plus has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit bigger display. The Moto G9 Plus has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Honor 50, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Moto G9 Plus also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Honor 50 features a little bit better performance than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 50 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Honor 50 counts with a slightly better camera than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Honor 50 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Moto G9 Plus has greater battery life than Honor 50, because it has a 16% bigger battery capacity.
