Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is better than the Honor 50's 74.5 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a older, heavier and thicker cellphone than the Honor 50. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Honor 50 has Android 11, so it counts with some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Galaxy Note8 has a bit sharper screen than Honor 50, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a greater pixels count in each inch of display. The Galaxy Note8 has just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Honor 50, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Honor 50 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Honor 50 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Honor 50 has superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.
Honor 50 takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Honor 50 also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera.
