The Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than Honor 50, getting a 78.1 score against 74.5. Both devices in our current comparison include the same Android 11 operating system. Although Galaxy XCover 5 and the Honor 50 were released only 3 months apart, Galaxy XCover 5's design is somewhat thicker but just a little bit lighter than the Honor 50.
Honor 50 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a better display pixels density and a larger screen. Honor 50 has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 50 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Honor 50 shoots greater videos and photos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light captures, it also counts with a lot more megapixels back camera and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The Galaxy XCover 5 has a way bigger memory for applications and games than Honor 50, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB.
Honor 50 has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
